Henry Hale,
Director of the Petrach Program on Ukraine<\/h3>

Henry Hale is a Professor of Political Science and International Affairs, and his most recent books are The Zelensky Effect (Hurst\/Oxford University Press 2022, co-authored with Olga Onuch) and Patronal Politics: Eurasian Regime Dynamics in Comparative Perspective (Cambridge, 2015). Prominent themes in his research include ethnic politics, political regimes, voting behavior, the public opinion dimension of international relations, and politics in post-Soviet countries, where he has conducted extensive field research.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Anhelina Leshak,
Program Coordinator of the Petrach Program on Ukraine<\/h3>

Anhelina Leshak\u00a0is a master\u2019s student in International Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Before joining George Washington University, Anhelina worked as a project manager in various fields, including as an International Projects and Programs Manager at the Ukrainian Leadership Academy.\n\nAnhelina holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree with honors in Political Science from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and is a graduate of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy. She is the founder of two non-governmental organizations \u2014 the German-Ukrainian Cultural Bridge and the German-Ukrainian Union, which focus on cultural diplomacy, international cooperation, and as well city partnerships between Trier (Germany) and Izium (Ukraine). She is also the founder of the electoral list \u201cMigration Bridge\u201d and a member of the Council for Migration and Integration of the city of Trier (Germany). Additionally, she has represented the Council in the Children and Youth Commission of the Trier City Council and at the level of all councils of the federal state. Anhelina has led and been active in several other civil society organizations, including Malteser, Youth for Peace, and others.\n\nAnhelina\u2019s contributions have been recognized with the \u201cYouth Volunteer\u201d award, an honorary award from the Lotto Foundation for outstanding service to society, and the Maltese Order Medal \u201cFor Supporting Ukraine.\u201d Her work continues to focus on promoting dialogue, solidarity, and cross-border cooperation for a more inclusive and secure future.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
